Coming Events & Activities
October 27th (Friday)
- Harvest Fest (6:00 ᴘᴍ-9:00 ᴘᴍ)
This activity has always provided a wonderful opportunity for our people to fellowship, build relationships with each other, and to give thanks to our awesome God for His many blessings! We will meet on the church property for a soup & chili cook-off, a candy hunt for the children, and a bonfire service with singing, testimonies and a challenge from God's Word. There are sign-up lists in the back hall. See Dave Rother if you have any questions.
- Reformation Day
A monk in Wittenberg, Germany, nailed a document to the chapel door on October 31, 1517. It set forth 95 theses, or statements, intended for debate. Little did that monk, Martin Luther, know that the sound of his hammer would resound through the centuries and across the world. It was the beginning of the Reformation! The congregation of Huron Baptist
Church has invited anyone interested to join them for a conference celebrating the 500th observance of Reformation Day. See Pastor R. J. Krystowiak if you would like more information.
- International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (Sunday meetings)
This International Day of Prayer is a time set apart for us to remember thousands of our Christian brothers and sisters around the world who suffer persecution, simply because they confess Jesus Christ as Lord. This year we have a special presentation in Sunday school and a special speaker in the morning worship. Our Home Fellowship Groups that evening will focus specifically on praying for persecuted Christians. Please plan to join us!
